Xmas 2007

On Christmas eve we went round to my parents with a car piled high with enough kit for a 2 day stop over. Less than we needed when he was newborn, but he still needed more than both of us put together! He was very excited - I doubt he understood Xmas, but he knew something was up and just would not sleep! He must have woken a dozen times before finally dropping off into a proper sleep (at the end my mum took over so I could get to bed! They were still jet lagged from their last trip so she wasn't at all tired)

Xmas day was nice. Mum had brought Leon a nice jumper from Ecuador, and they bought him a ride-on-Thomas, which he loved.



He did, however, seem to rather like being pushed around in a shopping trolley! Though by midday it was all too much and he had a little snooze in his new Xmas outfit



He also got an In the Night Garden book (he's into that program - he'll watch the whole 1/2 hour and does the dances and points at Upsy Daisy and goes 'ook'). Note the new jumper Mum knitted, very nice :)



We stayed over and left mid afternoon Boxing day. All in all a lovely Xmas (with nice food - thanks Mum!). By the time we got home around 4, Leon flaked out, what a cutie :)



BTW Leon's Xmas Haul also included a finger puppet from Adam and stickle bricks from Sam - thanks!
