We took Leon swimming as usual on Monday afternoon. He's so confident in the water now, it's great. I still get him to do a couple of underwater swims which I hope will help him not loose his reflex to hold his breath underwater as well as give him confidence. I was holding on to his middle while he kicked with his back legs and reached for toys or people, happy as anything. He's definitely got the idea that you kick and you go forward. The amount of energy he must use is incredible.
There was another little boy there about 18m old, Leon's just so sociable, he was all smiles, motioned he wanted to be floated in their direction and they played a primitive form of catch with a floaty ball and swapped toys for a while, smiling all the while.
